Description:
From poet, meditator, and speaker Yung Pueblo, comes a collection of poetry and prose that explores the movement from self-love to unconditional love, the power of letting go, and the wisdom that comes when we truly try to know ourselves.
It serves as a reminder to the reader that healing, transformation, and freedom are possible.
My opinion:
The book provides valuable insights on how an individual should perceive it's own being.
Even though the book consisted of normative claims (what is ought to-be) there were no real explanations on how to achieve that state of being (author only emphasized "honesty" as the main virtue)
Favorite quote:
"I held my fear by the hand, honored its existence, and thanked it for teaching me that happiness exists beyond the boundaries it creates."
― Yung Pueblo
Key takeaways:
Be honest.
Forgive.
Move on.
